Stairs and railings have to fit the site, connect cleanly with the surrounding structure, and look intentional once the work is complete. Schmelzle MechFab fabricates interior and exterior projects around the actual dimensions and conditions.

Projects may include new fabrication, repair, or replacement. Material, attachment points, finish expectations, and intended use are evaluated for each job.

This upper-level railing system uses a restrained steel frame and cable infill to define the edge without visually closing off the room.
